Does anyone know how the factory backup cameras system works? My truck did not come with one but I install just the factory rear camera. I cut the harness off of it and spliced it to a four wire cord. So now I have power, ground, and 2 wires for a "RCA" end. I need to supply it with power, which if I remeber is 5 volts. I used an A/C power adapter to test it, but now I need to hook it up to my z120bt.
What are my options to get a switched 5volt source? What does the factory setup use? Is there a factory camera module somewhere?
As a last resort I will wire up a 5 volt cellphone charger, but really dont want to do that.
