had my 8.1 burb hit the gov VERY easy. i was actually quite surprised how easy and quick. unlike most that slow down the rate of acceleration on higher speeds it pulled and acclerated just as easy and quick from any speed to any speed i pushed too. can only imagine what it would do tuned.. although the 4.10's and 245's will probably be my limiting factors

Me??? No more than 80........ I am not in that much of a hurry....

But if you choose to reach in the 120's plus, place a clear plexiglass over the grill to reduce lift.

( As they do at dry lake beds )..

Back in 2012, I had my 2007 XL Denali up between 110 and 120 MPH on I-80 in Eastern Iowa and my wife was asking if we could go faster. Of course, my 6 year old son was being flown in a helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospital. Can't really say if I had any lift of not.

Remember....... At high speed....... Mostly, it's the road condition that can hurt you.
( Little bumps & whoop-de-dos turn into launch ramps )

You MUST know the road before speeding that much !!

85 MPH is the fastest. TBH I havent been north of 100 in a very long time. Neither of my vehicles are what i would consider fast cars. Id imagine the PPV wheels will allow the tahoe to get up to speed quickly. I have 22s on my rig so im rolling much more weight

I've gotten my nbs up to 85, if I need to go faster I jump on my 335i. I can say I've gotten that one up to 150 and that's because I ran out of road. Wife was ******** bricks.

How are you going to add more weight to the front bumper. Great idea tho. When your truck goes into a high speed drift you will be glad you have that extra weight on the front.

I'm adding my push bumper with extensions for pitting. That should add at least 75 to 130 pounds maybe a little more. Coming down out of the mountains here in AZ very easy to hit the 130 mark fast. 140 probably took like he said another 1/2 mile. But at 130 1/2 mile is not long. That's when it started to lift a little I was coming into a big long sweeping corner so I pushed to 140 and had to get out of it. Still had a lot of peddle left and it runs great for a hoe that has 197000 miles on it.
