How hard is it to swap to leather heated seats in 2007 Suburban LT 2500?

The burban I'm looking at has leather seats but they aren't optioned with heat, can I just buy a pair of oem heated seats and the door controls from say an LTZ and swap them in? I'd imagine the wiring is all there but don't know if something would need to be programed to make it function.

Thanks-

im not sure about the wiring. but if it is in fact there. You would need the control switch on the door, and the heating element.
The seat cover comes off pretty easily, and the element sticks right to the foam. I dont remember the cost, but not expensive.
I got mine when i replaced the seat cover from the seat shop.

If the wiring does exist in the seat and door controls already I believe the BCM needs to be reflashed to allow the option to function correctly.

BCM being programed makes sense, I think I'm going to move forward regardless.

Thanks
