how hard to remove runnin boards and hitch

New to these forums and don't know much about these, so how hard is it to remove the running boards and the hitch off my tahoe z71?
Also do those plastic steps on them just pop out without a problem.
Im removing them to powdercoat them

Hitch is just rusty bolts on the frame, the running boards have bolts under it.
The plastic caps do pop off but watch the tabs on them you could break one then you will be replacing.
