Lets face it, the look of the mud tire tops any other tires out there. Although my rig is a concrete cowboy, I want the look of a mud tire on my truck.

My brother swears by Toyo M/T's and he got almost 50,000 miles on them. My cousin swears by Copper STT and he has 20,000 miles on them and and he has about 50% tread left on them. Both my cousin and my brother wheel every once in a blue moon, and most of their driving was on city streets.

I've been doing the research on mud tires, and I'm curious to see what kind of mileage your getting out of your mud tires and what suggestions you have if you had to do things all over again?

I had 30K on my MTZ's when I sold my 98. They still had 50% left.

I used them on my Jeep. Worked great. I know someone on here has had an issue with a set but I had bought a set when first moving to WA. They are inexpensive and hold up great. I was going on trails a lot and up in the snow almost 5 days a week. Never had an instance where they failed me. I had them for about 6 months before selling the jeep. I think I put about 15K on them (I was driving back and forth from seattle to snow resort almost daily)

I really have not heard to much bad about treadwrights tire's. Personally, I've been looking at MT/R's for my SFA swap. I've looked at STT's too. I've only heard good about the STT's

The only thing I remembered about Treadwrights is from the photographs I've seen of them (Never seen a set in person) is that the sidewalls appear to stick-out further than the treads which looks weird too me. I have no idea if they are like that in person, but I wouldn't want to spend the money to find out if you know what I mean.

I think that is the photos they use and with it being black it looks off. They actually look normal in person.
