Got 2 recent quotes and it looks like $5000 just to put a supercharger ONLY on my Hoe!!

Not for nothing but I cannot justify spending that kind of money which will never be recouped just to gain an additional 100HP

I know the blower costs about $3K but $2K to install ?

For that money I could buy a used 6.0 no?

Would love some advise here guys

from what i read i would buy an LQ9 and build it up alot then throw it in then you could sell your 5.3 to get something back and its all motor so less shit to go wrong

Where did you find a blower for 3K? Mine was $5K new. Bring it down to me for a few hrs and I'll install it cheap; TYF hookup. $2k seems steep for a s/c install when it doesn't even take but a day to install.
Depending on the blower, you can easily get over an extra 100hp if tuned right.
