Hi

I have a 99 4WD, 4D, 350 7.5 Vortex.

The dash board has a crack in it from about the defroster vent in the center that runs front to rear about 6 inches.

Should the the 'top' of my dash be removed/replaced? If not, should I repair it? If so, do I do that?

Thanks

I'm sure you could fiberglass it but it would be difficult to match the texture and who knows, it might crack again. It's all cosmetic. If you can't stand looking at the crack, replace it.

i'd probably just get one of those carpet dash toppers and just forget it's there. even if you got the parts for cheap to fix the dash, it would still be a big undertaking to take it all off and put it all back on. just my 2 cents. unless it's cracked to the point of having chunks missing, i'd just leave it be and cover it up.

Same here! Just got a dash pad to cover up a crack that just stares into my soul every time I see it.
