I just changed my brakes on my 2007 Tahoe LS, and i want to write a how to in the tech section, but I don't know how to add pictures, if you know, can you explain to me how to do it, so those that want to take the task on changing their brakes will have a step by step on how to do it.

Under "Additional Options" below the "reply to thread" window, there's a block that says "manage attachments." Click on that, browse your desktop for the first picture, select it, "upload" it, and wait for it to appear in the uploaded files list. Then, repeat the process for each additional photo. Then, submit the reply as usual, and you'll see your pics thumbnailed in the post.

Ahh those suck, don't do it that way. Just upload them to tinypic.com or photobucket.com, copy and paste the IMG code it gives you. It gives us a lot more to view and doesn't black out the rest of the page to view the tiny thumbnails.

Thumbnails are one way to do it but the pics are typically smaller and have to be clicked on to see the full (or larger) size. If you instead first upload the pics to a photo hosting site like photobucket.com, etc. you can then embed the pictures in a larger format. Once the pics have been uploaded to the host site you can embed them by using the "Insert image" (just above the text box when adding the thread or post) option and using the pic's URL web address. If you'd like to see what your post will look like once you have done so just quote this post of mine and you will see how the below pic was embedded... :Handshake:
