Ive used watter wetter before in my 2500hd and i couldnt find my radiator cap so they told me to add it to my coolant reservoir. well it never really worked so this time i got dei radiator relief for my tahoe and im going to add it to my radiator cap but cant find it. any help as to where it is located.

Also does the reservoir constantly cerculate coolant through it? or does it just add to the coolant when low??? any help would be great.

Our trucks don't have radiator caps, so you have to add it to the resivoir.

As far as I know, the resivoir tank does flow once the pressure reaches a certain level, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I put the radiator relief in today. I bought a turkey baster to suck out some coolant to make room for my radiator relief.

It definentally works. When i drove down the street my gauge was going up and down and then it just became a steady lower temp about 10 degrees lower once the fluid was evenly spread throughtout system. 10 degrees is all i nototice on the stock gauge (which suck).

You'll find that as long as everything is in tip top shape, these radiators are very efficient. I proved that my disconnecting my pass side AC fan and driving the bat shit out of my truck and stopped on the side of the road for about 10mins. No overheat and it was 100deg here in TX, and my driverside fan never came on.

I agree, but remember that there is also a "perfect" operating temperature that you also do not want to go below. I doubt it matters here though.
