I had a P0332 code come up(knock sensors). I read in another post that the check engine light was cleared without changing the part and it never came back, so that's what I'd like to try first. If I disconnect the battery for awhile will that do it? If I do that will it affect the remotes to where I'll have to reprogram them? I don't have a scan tool so will disconnecting the battery do it?
Any help is appreciated.

You might have to go to an autoparts store to get them to clear the code with their scanners, I had to do that when I replaced my O2 sensors a couple weeks ago and the disconnecting of the battery didn't do it for me!

You can get code readers now for less than $40 which gives you the ability to clear codes.
