Hi!

I had a little LED interior swap.
Put 3 leds in the dome light above/behind the front seats.
The one in the middle comes on when driver/passenger door opens.
But the two on the side must be turned on with the buttons.
How can I connect the two side bulbs to light up together with the one in the middle?

Thanks, and sorry if my English is bad:sorrysign:

Welcome aboard! My family is Norwegian by the way, I believe my great grandparents came to the US. Anyway, JKmotorsports did this, he hasn't been on in a while. Might be worth while to take a look at some of his old posts.

IF you have a dmm you can check if the lights are + switched or - switched.

Then use a diode to connect each to the same lead that controls the middle one.

If positive switched, band goes towards 'slave' bulb, if negative switched points towards master.

That would allow them to turn on with the dome light, but also turn on independently without turning the middle or other one on.

You should wire this up Eagle and write an how-to guide with multiple pictures:Handshake:

03-06 are switched positive, and according to JK, 00-02 are switched negative.

Here is my 03 switched positive:

Positive and negative highlighted:

If it was switched negative, it would be like this:

I don't have a pic of an 00-02 domelight and I don't even know if it is similiar at all. Maybe JK can throw one up when he has a chance?

You can also repeat for the rear hatch light.
