How to lift rear wiper blade?

Howdy....I want to change the rear wiper blade insert. How do you lift up the wiper arm ? I pulled on it but it ain't wanting to come up.

When I tried last year, I broke the little tab that holds it at rest position. (you know the very first thing they show you NOT to do in that video!)

Figured it out after breaking it, but that discouraged me so much, I still have not removed the blade for fear of breaking something else!

But I did order a new plastic piece..

Thanks!! I've always wondered how to replace that blade.

That being said, I've never replaced it in the 6 years I've owned it, lol. It doesn't get used much, but I do use it on and off when it's raining and the back glass gets a bit hard to see out of.

I was afraid of pulling too hard and breaking it. I am armed with knowledge now and will proceed with job.
