So i have a new to me 02 and i just had the headliner replaced. How do HECK do you make sure the thing is closed? If you try to close it when is it closed? it slides forward until it touches but if i stop there is still wind noise which to me indicates it is open. If just barely eeek it forward it starts to raise in the back and the wind noise stops but if you go a hair to far then it is open again. I just wished it had more positive feedback for when it is truly closed. I don't want that new liner getting wet.

Pearls of wisdom?

It should be kinda like one touch IIRC. Haven't used mine in a while, it's still 29 here. You get it close to closed and it finishes up.

If it's not working, try cycling it from full vent, to fully open a few times.

If not, pull the positive terminal for a half hour, see if that does it.

There might be a rest procedure, I think I read that somewhere a long time ago.
