I have a 2012 Yukon Denali. I have the easy exit feature programmed so that the steering wheel raises upon key out.

I want the wheel to stay up until I put the key back in, but the steering wheel lowers when I push unlock on my key fob.

Can anyone help me with this? Much thanks.

You might be able to disable the remote fob portion of the memory somehow however that would likely also result in your having to manually select the 1 or 2 memory setting upon entry. (I don't think the memory is tied to the actual key itself.)

Welcome to the forum, BTW!!

I've practically memorized this portion of the owner's manual and have everything working fine except for this. It does not make sense to me that the steering wheel goes back down to the driving position upon pressing the remote button to unlock the doors. The steering wheel should stay up until the key is inserted. Otherwise, that defeats the purpose of easy exit and entry. There's got to be a way.

Thanks for the welcome to the forum!
