Hi , About a year ago i had a body shop remove all decals , badging , and plastic side panels. It turned out that underneath my paneling on the left side (rear door) there were some scrapes , even pitting through the paint. I was thinking i would bondo, sand , and paint (color coded) over it. But I didn't end up doing that , so i am thinking of putting the side panels back on (i kept them).

I am wondering what adhessive should i use. I went to autozone and found these 2 options. 1 is some type of glue stuff (says for decals), and the other is a double side tape for auto body.

i took some pics of the stuff:

Any advise would be very appreciated. :)

I would use the double sided tape. The glue is :yucky:.
Okay. I will try the double sided 3m tape.

I was a little consderned about its hold. i don't want the decal panels falling off while on the road.

Has anyone used this tape stuff before ?

Thanks. :)

Double sided tape will hold them. That is what holds them on from the factory. Just make sure that both surfaces are clean and wax free.

+1 on the 3M red tape....if properly cleaned first-it takes a great deal of force to remove anything secured by it ! I've used it many times before from just badging to whole side door moldings....
