how to remove spark plug wires

Pulling them is the right way to remove them but as you may know that does not always work because the boots get stuck to the plugs and in most cases you have to destroy the wires to get them off.

Mine were stuck so i just pulled the wire out of the boot and then grabbed the boot with pliers and finally got them off. If you`re not replacing the wires and don`t want to ruin them try pulling and twisting at the same time.

Grab the boot, twist it 90 degrees and then pull. That should loosen the boot and prevent tearing and separation.

This...

I've also just grabbed the boot & moved it around before I pulled. You'll feel the boot loosen & unstick from the plug.

I used big pliers and leaned against the exhaust manifold heat shield for the hard ones.
