no very easy, drain some fluid out of the tcase so it dont rush out of the tail end of the tcase.remove drive shaft. u can take a flat head screw driver and a hammer and tap the old one out, hold up the new one, with the small hole in the rubber facing down and tap it in with the hammer (lightly) go around the seal taping it in where needed until its to the tail shaft all the way.
