How to take apart a Esky third brake light ???

i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to take apart the lens on the Esky third brake light. i got the lens off the housing just need to figure out how to take it apart with out breaking it.

Im trying to do this, because i have one with a broken lens and want see if i can make my brake light,to light up completely like the putco,just dont want to spend the $325.00 for it so im going to try to add the leds myself.

I think I saw something on there. I think the person that did this never finished as it was too difficult.
