How to take off hitch cover

How do i both take off and put back on the hitch cover on a 2010 denali?

you have two 1/4 turn twist clips on the bottom. Unscrew them and then pull away from the top where there are 4 (I believe) clips at the top - watching not to break the tiny clips at the top.

Kind of funny. Most people with Denali's and Escalades are bitching because they fall off so easy. :) I lost one, and after a couple hundred dollars to get it replaced, I drilled holes next to the plastic 1/4 turns and put screws in. The top tabs still slip out once in a great while, but I don't lose it.

Good to know. I have never removed mine, the dealer did while we were looking at it and he had a time getting it back on. So that is right where I've left it. I have thought about putting some kind of attachment on it. You know, to prevent it from walking off!

thanks for sharing--- amazing how much the dealer didnt show me and its all read the manual and trial and error.
