Hello everyone, noob to this forum but i had a few questions. I own a 2008 Tahoe Hybrid with the factory Touchscreen Navigation w/ reverse Camera.

My first question: Is this even capable of playing DVD's?
Second: If it is; how can i go about using it to watch DVD's on the road?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

1) Depends. Do you see a "DVD" Logo in the bottom left hand corner of your screen, and do you have Rear Seat Entertainment (drop down LCD screen by sunroof). If you DO have both of those, then you can play DVD movies. If you don't have both of those, then your nav screen is strictly DVD-ROM (read only memory) and can only take Navigation DVD-ROM discs.

2) Google "NavTV" or "GMX-550 LockPick" -- both of those will let you watch video in motion.
