Howdy from Corpus!

Howdy! I'm Jared, and I'm new here from Corpus Christi, Texas. For the uninitiated, I'm about two hours south - not north - of San Antonio, but no, we don't ride horses.

I come in peace with a '99 Tahoe; details are in the sig at the bottom. Photo attached to the thread was taken by me at around 81k miles. I see myself getting a lot of life outta this rig, so I figure I might gain all the knowledge I can to keep it going. I'm a walking car encyclopedia, but I'm new to keeping the damn things maintained.

Hope to gain some experience from this forum and to give some back!

Pockets, what did your step dad do on base? Both of my sister-in-law's parents worked there - her mom was a dispatcher, and I can't remember what her dad did.
