I pulled the blower motor from my moms 2000 Escalade and found the negative terminal was slightly melted. From what I read that means the motor can be pulling too much power and is a mark of it going bad. Looking online for a replacement most of the results don’t look the same and are single pole vs double pole. The single pole is much cheaper ($35 vs $75). Since I need to replace the wire end anyway due to it being melted, has anyone swapped to a single pole? Or should I just get the one that is double and a new double end? Photos below
