Guys, while struggling with the last spark plug on the passenger side, my body knocked off a small black cap that was on the silver metal tube (HVAC Line?). It's the one closer to the grille, not the one close to the firewall. Thing is, it got lost under the hood and I can't find it......any problems running without it?

I believe you are talking about a dust cap that covers the threaded plug. If so you are fine.

The main problem you might encounter by leaving the dust cap off the schrader valve is dirt getting in then it could start leaking. Not exactly an emergency but I like to be a preventative guy so I would find a replacement, eventually. Of course I live in the desert so my engine compartment is pretty dusty.

It's a typical quick disconnect cap, it fits all makes and models, you should be able to go to your local parts store and get one for a couple cents. There are 2 sizes, one for high pressure side and one for low pressure side but I believe they are sold in sets anyways.
