HVAC issues in 96 tahoe

I am having issues with the "mode" selector. If I have the controls on heat or vent I can get air through all 3 modes ( floor, defrost, and vent) but if I push the ac button in I only get air through defrosters or floor. It doesn't matter if I have it on recirculate or not. Anyone have any ideas where to look? I pulled the controls out and checked for any loose or burned wire/connections, and obviosly my blend door actuator works cause besides on ac it moves airflow to all 3 zones.

Anyone able to help? Anyone know if there is a vaccum controller for the ac on a 96 tahoe?

Im just taking a shot in the dark but the system may be seeing a critical fault at one of the sensors and is causing your issues. I haven't seen that issue before but ive seen a/c issue rear thier head in odd ways.

Just a update I got the hvac control unit replaced and that fixed my ac issues, everything for now is working great!
