I just installed a gas cap today but that’s the only thing that’s changed for quite a while

You absolutely do NOT have to listen to a word I am saying. If it’s going bad it won’t stay running I’m a diesel mechanic and that happened on our 1998 international 4800 the mechanic quoted $2,500 for tons of electronics and labor 3 hour fuel pump job and it’s still running
The other weird thing is earlier it acted like it had no voltage I pasted a video on another comment but then it started after this thing is acting strange as hellYou absolutely do NOT have to listen to a word I am saying.
I will still go back to what I said. You know you have low fuel pressure. It does not just go low and stay there forever on. It gets worse whenever it wants and that may or may not be the problem because you still have not given me the year of the rig so I can tell if is accel cable or drive by wire set up. Yes a fuel pressure regulator may be going out but when you first posted about this problem in this thread, you said you can't get a break. You just admitted you know you have low fuel pressure. You KNEW you had a problem. Bite the bullet and share vehicle info.It wasnt a single problem besides low ambient temp starts before today and it was idling today just fine. I shut it down and now it only runs with the fast idle stick , no weird noises, no huge misfire, no CEL, I’m kinda lost if it isn’t fuel pump related considering the voltage is fine .
I shared it in another comment I thought. It’s a 2001 GMC Yukon XL 4wd SLT 5.3, if it helps there’s a mechanical cable on the throttle body cruise control moves the pedal any other information on the throttle body/gas pedal would wait until tomorrow .I will still go back to what I said. Sorry, missed the year. I wanted that for just what you said. Is not drive by wire. Sooo, could be a fuel pressure regulator or failing fuel pump. Or, hell IDK.......It wasnt a single problem besides low ambient temp starts before today and it was idling today just fine. Because it’s pre 2003 it’s not electronic I believe if there’s anything small that can fix it in a hour I can do it before work and not limp it to work with high idleI will still go back to what I said. Yeah I’m hella lost after it did The Whole high idle thing it didn’t want to send voltage to even the dash. WTF CHEVYSorry, missed the year. I wanted that for just what you said. Is not drive by wire. Sooo, could be a fuel pressure regulator or failing fuel pump. Or, hell IDK.......
