It only had the Tahoe badge and the dealership badge right above it. I just pulled them off. Then it took a long time soaking the adhesive tape with Goof Off and scraping with a plastic paint scraper. Of course you could still see the outline of the badges after that. I just waxed it with Mothers Carnuba Cleaner wax and it removed the outlines. Looks Perfect!

Once you get that tool, you will... haha... It will look a lot better with the side molding gone. And it will only take a few minutes with that tool.

only thing i'm worried about is any fading of the paint.

Yours is an 04 so you should be fine (OP is as 06). I've read on here and other forums (GMFS, FSC) people doing it with 02's and being fine. I took mine off (just the words) and it was fine.. mines an 04...

Here. I think it would have taken me as much effort to find one of those wheels and get a drill as it did to scrape it off in the parking lot of my apartment. I just wanted it done right away. Here's some pics.

Man, I like the fact that they protect my doors if some dick hits it with their doors. You know how people are. I'll consider it though. I'll take you up on that Nathan if I do it. I guess I need a heat gun and the magic eraser for that for sure.
