Last night I decided to order a set of 16x10 Rock Crushers with a backspacing of 4.5 inches. I love the wheels but I wasn't paying enough attention to the amount of backspacing when I placed the order and now they are being shipped to my house as we speak.

4.5 inches of back spacing on a 2 inch lift might make the wheels and tires stick out just a bit too far. I need to see a Tahoe with little to no lift with 16x10 wheels and 4.5 inches of backspacing.

Does anyone have any pictures of a Tahoe with 16x10 with 4.5 inches of backspacing????

Buyers remorse is a bit@h . . .

Isn't 4.5 inches of backspacing the factory backspacing? I thought if you went much more than that you would start rubbing when turning. I am not sure how much they will stick out being so much wider though. Do you have flares? I would think with flares you should be fine unless you have a knuckle lift which will push the front wheels out that much more.

Here is a picture of 992Doors rig. Its not exactly the size I got but its close; he is running 17x9 on 285/70/17's but I have no idea what his backspacing is. . .

The wheels I ordered are 16x10 with 4.5 inches of backspacing, so they're over an inch wider than 992Doors. And 992Door and I have the exact same fender flares.

What size tire were you planning? Factory wheels are 16x7 with 5.5" BS. a x10 wheel with 4.5" BS will stick out a good bit.

Well I have to be honest, I have always been a fan of the Weld Wheel look where they have that deep rim lip, and have wider stance than normal wheels. I wanted to purchase a wheel/tire package that would offer me a comparable look. However, I understand that if you don't know what your doing you could go too far and have a set of wheels that stick out way too much and look awkward; which is what I'm afraid of is going to happen with the wheels I ordered.

I was originally planning on running 33's or 285/75/16's. . . .

992Door's hoe appears to have a very wide stance (aggressive) ad it looks awesome. But his stance is about as far as I would feel comfortable going. If I could find something between 992Door's and Kris's rig than that would be the look I'm going for.

The picture below is what I'm trying to describe as a stance that is way too wide, and what I'm afraid the wheels I ordered would look like. Its an extreme example, but you'll get the idea:

It'll only stick out a few inches more than your factory wheel, shouldn't be a huge deal depending on the look you're going for. Worst case you don't like it and have to sell them.

That tahoe above is brucebruce's old truck, IIRC those were at least 12" wide with a 2" spacer to push them out that far.
