I need some help guys

Hey hows it going, im new to this site but i have always used it as a reference when i had a project. I have a 97 2 door kon 4x4 5.7 vortec and i have had a bumpy road i thought it was a intake gasket because i was leaking into cylinder six but it wasnt. come to find out it was a cracked head i have now replaced the head and built it back up. but now it wont start wont even turn over now clicking sound or any thing. i have changed the battery and charged it again over night my kon has been sitting for a few months while i was getting the money and all the parts together. i have no idea where to start now if you can help at all that would be great. thanks

I think you need to go back over your work.

Did you have a list or write up for the job? Make a list if you don't and check everything off again.

Maybe you missed an electrical connector something else simple!

What ryan said. You might have something plugged into the wrong terminal or a ground to something not grounded... Just go through your work again, itll come around

ok well i have it running but i have a vacuum leak on the driver side the piece that connects to the valve cover and the upper intake it has where a line comes off and i dont have that line nor do i know where to get one or where it goes

sound like the PCV system. get a new grommet valve and bulk foot or so of emissions hose that fits the valve and mani ends from local parts store.

alright guys got everything running and moving and vacuum leak sealed but i am having misfires multiple ones and the right exhaust is making a popping sound when driving down the road any ideas on the misfire? and why its making that sound?

did u change the distributor? check it? how do the plugs look? the noise is probably due to the misfires. maybe cps or ckp?
