So after lurking way too long I decided to go live.

I have enjoyed and benefited greatly from this forum and hope I can contribute a bit here and there.

I am on my 2nd 2001 tahoe and have started playing with the latest one. My first one met a violent end at 296k miles ( and was running BEAUTIFULLY) These both have been and are my work vehicles and I put serious highway miles on them as I am an Industrial Rep for a few companies... I also have a project 88 ec/sb and a garage stuff with motorcycle nonsense that usually keeps me busy.

I dont have a name for her at the time and Honestly I dont even have good over all recent photos! ( I will correct that this week)

So she is as follows: 2001 Tahoe LS 4x4 lowered 3 in the front and 5 in the rear with belltech 5305 sitting on 275/45/20s , I have done the free travel mod as well. Airlift in coil air bags for loads (constantly loaded) Stock engine with nothing but upkeep and a superchips 87 oct tune, drop in KN filter, Optima Red top battery. B&M stacked plate tranny cooler replacement for the meager stock one.. So far maintenance has been meticulous and all OEM replacement parts. Emblems shaved, Tint matched front windows, wheels, tires ect. basic small stuff all speakers replaced with higher end pioneer including the subwoofer. Stock headunit with amp bypass coming today and my 3.5mm aux project this weekend to keep it looking stock as possible inside...( nothing to attract a thief to break into my shit as I am on the road and not always in the best spots) As much as I would like to start dumping money into this I always have to remind myself I have enough projects and this is my WORK vehicle. haha. I keep telling myself that.

I live in the PNW, Vancouver Washington. Im in my late 20s, married with a 2 year old and just recently (4wks old) twin boys. When im not doing the family thing I am essentially a greasy wizard with a ****** disposition working in my garage. I enjoy long walks on the beach (drag strip), cheap beer, good tacos, bonfires and firearms.

Hello.

I dont have any good looking "staged" photos. Just the basic ones from the drive way over the past few months. I have a bunch of odd photos of specific parts, Has a powerstop brake kit on it (Rotots/Pads) Ceramic painted the centers of the rotors silver, stuff like that. I have some close ups of the B&M cooler but after painting the brackets black ( Cooler comes a satin black) you cant see any of it from 3ft away. Also had the windshield replaced yesterday. Annnnnd as of 15 minutes ago did the quick 4hi mod. Great write up.

I think I would like the front end down another half to 3/4 of an inch. I am about 32 1/2 " from ground to fender in the front and 32" in the rear. It was level at one time but I think I have pinched the top nipple on the airbag and need to drop the springs out to fix it this weekend..if it still sits lower in the rear ill go from there.

So many directions to go if so inclined, otherwise she looks clean.

She is a daily driven work truck so I think Im going to leave her close to as is. Maybe some small things to increase longevity and or small fun things.

Thanks to everyone so far and yeah. Twins are more work than I though, but its so far well worth it. I will let you know when the twins are 2 if I feel the same :hahano:.
