i think my hids are different

so after installing them about 5 days ago i noticed one was darker than the other. both bulbs were marked 8000k in the same box.

i thought that since they were new, after being on for a number of hours they color would change. not yet.

im starting to suspect that one is at the 8000k temperature, and the other is either at the 6000k mark or a bit higher. here are two pics i took of the bulb differences. this really sucks! :emotions122:

Yeah, left one seems to be higher than 8000K. Were they both the same color when you first got them?

i would say 8000k vs 1000K i would call who every you got them from and c what you should do.

After.

Usually takes HIDs about 50-100 hours to break in to their true color but yeah, your situation doesn't look normal. Left one is not 8000K, like NY said, possibly 10,000K
