I have been going through threads and am getting dizzyer than usual.

I am getting a Yukon this week I hope. And I want to be cool with y'all,so I guess I have to modify the suspension, right?I have already done the lift thing,so I guess I need to go low this time.

I want to ride in style.I want to ride in comfort.I want to tow. And,I want to wander off-road when called for.I even do "Urban Off-Roading" occasionally, you know, when you hop the curb and use the sidewalk while the fruit cart guy runs for his life.

So,is there a way to do this? As in,go from 3-5 inches lower, back to stock height in the push of a button, all 4 corners? I know we are talking bags, but I don't get what has to happen on the front suspension yet. I have to get one of these things on a lift to understand it better.

I have fabrication/welding/machining skills, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel. And most times I come across a kit for anything,I usually end up modifying or re-engineering some of it,because I ain't happy with it.So,in other words,I'm not afraid to do some skilled work when necessary.

OK,so I guess that the rear should be no problem, let's put that aside.

The challenge is in the front, what hurdles are there to have an adjustable ride height with a travel of about 3"?

And what stresses would there be placed on the driveline? And if I go with a Denali (AWD),what challenges are there?

I'm thinking if I find a truck that needs suspension work or auto-ride service,I have some work to do anyways.

Everything for what you are wanting to do.

That looks like a beautiful, well engineered system! (and I am sure mucho dinero)

But it looks like it is designed for the GMT900,NNBS trucks. It looks like the NNBS front suspension and front spring mounting have a whole lot more room to play with.

Just from clicking on some of those thumbnails of the system and the lowered NNBS with it,looks pretty amazing....let the lusting begin.

After I typed my last response,I realized you may have issued a challenge?:hmmm2:

I'm going to get one up on a lift this weekend and see what fabrication it might take to get a coil-over in there.
