$200 for a tow service to winch me out. I had 1"x30' kinetic rope but the biggest vehicle around was a VW rail.

been on those dunes many times, good save and only $200 versus totaling it out (I've done that, not on the dunes though)

Living in Oregon, I have been to the Dunes near Florence many times but always in a dune buggy of sorts. Quads are popular too. I know the owner of a lifted 02 Tahoe that used to run out there with big wide sand 38" tires and pulled lots of people out. Have seen people stuck like this before.

Larry, shoveling helps there sometimes but mostly the sand just fills right back in. Frustrating to say the least. But good times for sure.
