Hello all, I'm currently in the process of installing a double din stereo in my '02 Tahoe. The unit I have has Rear USB and AV inputs, and I was just wondering if there's any popular places to run these inputs for easy access? I have heard of glove compartments but that's about it. What other options do you guys recommend?

I ran my USB to the pocket where the 4x4 switch is on equipped trucks. Mine is 2x4 so I have a pocket. I mounted the USB to the back of the pocket so I can plug my USB sticks into for music

I don't have any pics, but I cut a rectangular hole in the back, ran a USB extension cord though it. And left about 1/4" of the USB Jack inside the hole. On the backside jb welded them together.

Honestly that is nice and hidden plus you can put your I pod inside the little port and can you run the i pod from the Double Din stereo. If the double din runs from the Ipod from the radio that would be perfect. I have my i pod hidden in my Glove box and I can run it from my Alpine D-310. I make playlist and it makes it great to choose your music.

Yeah I put USB jump drives in it. I have a 16gig I put all my music on by folders. Artist, genre, and playlists. It stays hidden and easily accessed.

It is a JVC KW-AV50, Im looking to change it out soon if I can pocket it. Overall its a good screen it just lacks some features I was told it had when I purchased it. 6mo later I go to add them and JVC tells me it wont work with it lol... Aww well. I like the detachable faceplate and 5v preouts.
