No, I've gotten similar service, even today! These millennials are like creatures from another planet. They don't think like Americans, don't act it, can't form complete sentences, etc. Generally speaking of course! I recently wanted some work done to my truck that had to be taken in, wrote down the instructions and even had my wife and kids read it over and they said it was good. Do you think they followed them to the letter? Nope! They were not even aware that they got it wrong.

Yeah I formed a complete distrust for everyone quite a while ago. I'm OCD too so that's my Hell I live in. I try to trust simeone and this happens. Just proves my distrust even more. But I've never had anyone admit it and want to make it better like this guy.
Because that guy is one of us with a crew of them. He has a good day when they just show up for work and aren't calling and asking for bail money.

No kidding. I learned work ethics when I was running a back hoe tractor and dump truck (off road) when I was 10 yrs old in 1963! And how to respect my elders.

That is mostly true, but i do have to defend a few of them. I do know a few that you would think were in there 40s by their work ethic and manners lol. BUT, those kind are few and far between.

That's why I use the caveat, "Generally Speaking". Those kinds are a treasure, like the Burken boys and my girls and many others on here too!

I remember when I was a kid in the Sea Cadets, the WW2 veterans were often disgusted by us, they were a lot tougher than we were or my father's generation! LOL

My son just retired from the AF. Started his 2nd career still working for them. He tells me AF Boot Camp nowadays is a picnic. They cry and they time out to console themselves. And he even says 20 yrs ago it was a breeze. Not like Army Boot Camp back in '71. For me it was exactly like Full Metal Jacket. Bunch of sissies and trans now.
