I don't see why they can't retro grade it for past years. If I'm reading it correctly they are just using OnStar to do everything. If your vehicle has OnStar they should be able to write a program that works with prior years.

Has anyone ever known GM to be considerate of past owners? I love it that you pay big bucks for a SUV from them and the next 20 pieces of mail are for you to come in and buy a newer model with a big discount that they never wanted to give when you bought yours.

They need to learn that KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY is the way they get the repeat business and referals.

Look here if you really want this feature. Its made by compustar, Im saving for this Kit. I have a compustar in another car is love it. There is a service like 10 a month for a premium kit, first year free. Gps tracking, Unlimited range and Alerts. They told me it could work on a factory alarm but its desiged to work with a computar system

So for $350 you can add it to existing remote start? I think I know what I want for Christmas. :D
