Hey all I recently saw a Tahoe that the owner had a button installed that while the vehicle is running you can press the button and take out the key and vehicle remains running just curious is any of you know how to set that up as I would like to do that to my tahoe

I believe it has to do with what type of aftermarket remote start you have on the vehicle. Sorry I don't have anything more specific.

This would be a nice feature when it's really cold and I'm just making a quick stop/errand. I have just gotten out, locked the truck and re-started it.

You could always detach the key from the FOB and leave the key in the ignition?
