hey guy my name is pop i just brought a 1997 gmc yukon 5.7 4wd with 125000 miles on it. Im looking to improve my pedal responce and figure out a way to improve mpg by lets say 5mpg. Im a strong about only putting high test gas in the tank and also put fuel cleaner in so i know that gas in always burning clean. Let a rookie know some good idea's and the cost of the idea thanks.

this is the 2000-2006 forum so most of us are running 5.3's not 5.7's so you probably wont get that much help here. But if you are looking to get a bit more power and a couple miles to the gallon better I believe your best bet would be a tune from black bear. Other than that everything else is sort of like snake oil. I think my cold air intake gave me a little better throttle response but that could just be my head playing tricks on me.
