From 5x5 to 6 lug. to make it easier i planned on taking the 95-96 heavy half hubs to throw in, and a friend has a stock z71 limited slip hes willing to sell $100 obo...so for around $200 hopefully, ill spin both rears and ill be fully 6 lug! any issues or concerns up front before i get to replacing these?? thanks for any input!!

maybe i am confused from my meds but you should already already a 6 lug wheels with a 5.5 in bolt pattern if a 96 4wd 4dr.

oh you are 2wd aren't you?

just make sue drive shaft spline count is correct to match and length of rears is the same may have to change spider gears in back but that and front conversion can be done,

LOL there have been many saying "man..um, arent you already running 6 lugs?" it looked 4wd with the 24s on it for sure...just hard to come by 5x5 wheels cheap, and the stock 15s i have now, its hard to come across tires unless brand new and expensive...boooo.

i havent researched it yet, but why the possibility of spider gear change? i know they something like 3.73 or close to it, lsd from factory...and mine, obviously isnt lol

yeah 2wd has the 5 lug. that was not in your sig otherwise we would have noticed it and responded accordingly. let me look but i think spline count may be different between 2wd and 4wd axle ends. back in a moment.

yeah 4wdis same spline count but one inch longer but cant find a definitive picture t o show bolt count of a replacement to 6 bolt but 2wd length.

that z71 rear is 3 inches wider than your 2wd pick wheels carefully. also the hubs on the rotors you will have to run up front are quite large so also be sure to check hub clearnce...to eliminate the prob with the wider rear find an early 90's 2wd 2500 series it wil be six lug. you still gonna have the larger hub up front but Id rather fight one issue than 2

oh with all that said for the time money and headache spent to convert I would use towards buying some 5x5 rims imo
