Im finally getting HID!!

I dislike the chrome area on the side...and I dont like the amber reflector





These lights eliminate all problems above..

Do you guys think I should get the black housing? and whats your opinion on Halos? Im starting to think they are too much rice... =/

yea, but it' hard to find a set without the halos. I prefer not to have em but I guess you have to get some similar to the stock housing or Nali projectors.

your stock ones get my vote. They will preform better than those. THose have a plastic lens and will not put out a good beam paddern. The denali has stock projectors that will preform millions times better.

after market projectors are not glass? they are plastic?? =( so umm...what after market headlights can I get with the same quality as stock? I HATE the amber reflectors...and it'd be nice to be blacked out inside

Thats why those OEM Nali headlight are $350 a pop, That other auction u posted is for the set I believe, thats why it's $350.

what alot of people have done and I think Max has done this as well is heat up the light to seperate the two parts, then remove the amber and then just seal it back up. Same results, With stock quality.

Ya just pull your factory ones apart and black them out or whatever you want to do. There are lots of topics about this online.

There were also a lot of guys over on Jeeps Unlimited that took the eBay headlights and retrofit glass projectors into them from Acura. I think Valeo projectors were very common as well because they were pretty small and fit well. It's not that ******* eBay sets, as you can access the projector lens very easy. Thought about doing this to my Depo's, but the beam pattern is just fine right now.

Downside to using aftermarket projectors...if you can call it a real downside...is you have to change your bulbs. The ones in my GC are now D1S or D2S IIRC.

As for halo's, I'm not a fan of the LED ones. The true halo's, like CCFL rings put in, those I like. They are actually bright enough that you can use them as DRL's.
