Hello all. I'm shopping for a 2009 LT1 and am wondering what kind of deals most are getting? The one I'm looking at has a MSRP of $43,420. It's got a $1800 package that includes 20" wheels, a $1060 package that includes towing and remote start, and the $295 6-disc changer.

How much can I realistically expect to get off of the sticker price? I know there's a $4000 rebate available, but I don't want to use it b/c I plan on using the 0% for 72 months offer.

Thanks in advance for all advice!!!

Go to Edmunds.com and find out what invoice price is. You should NOT pay more than that. Also use a payment calculator and run both scenarios for the $4K cash back.

Invoice is $40,092, which means there's only a $3328 markup. I've read a few posts where some are getting them for $7-8K off MSRP along with the 0%. That means a sale price of well under invoice.

I wonder if this is common or if most do actually pay invoice?

You should be able to get invoice less any current rebates/incentives (believe $4k right now) without any problems. I am waiting til the incentives hit $6k to purchase...if they ever do.

Good luck,

Rob

EXACTLY! $4K rebate plus the $3,323 is in the $7-8K range. Plus interest rates under 6% with decent credit.
