I knew my tires was getting low on tread but while cleaning it yesterday I noticed that they have some cracks on the sidewalls. I heading out on vacations this weekend and I've decided to get new tires before i go. I posted in the exterior forum but didn't get much response and thought I would try this one. I live in Virginia and we get a good mix of all weather types. This is my wifes daily driver so I'm not looking for something real aggressive. Thanks for the help.

A couple of us have the nitto 421q. I like them but if I had to do it again I would do the deulers.

Those are your best choices.

I HATED the Kumho Ecsta 20's I had. My new tires where a set of Toyo and I was very happy with them. Nice and quiet. They were the equivalent to the Open Country.

Just looked them up and they don't make them in a 265 70 17.

spoke with them at Discount Tire and they are suggesting the Cooper Discoverer HTP. Don't know much about these but reviews seem pretty good.

What kind of tire? Road tire or AT or MT? I have the Nitto NT420S road tire on my 07 esky and love them. For AT if I had to go that route and do it again, I'd get the BFG AT's. Very quite and very nice tread. MT I'd go Toyo Open Country MT or Nitto Trail Grappler.

I live in Virginia and we have a good mix of weather. I need something that will do good in snow but don't want a real aggressive tread. Thanks

BFG AT is a real good choice for you then. Very quiet and the tread is nice but not too aggressive. I had them on my 01 Tahoe Z71 and loved them.
