Inner Fender Removal?

I've trimmed and heat molded my inner fenders in the typical spots with being lowered on bigger wheels but wanted to know if anyone has removed them completely and if there were any pros/cons.

The biggest con will be a filthy engine bay all the time. Possibly water getting into some electronics if you're driving in a heavy rain.

Good call on the fronts.
I think I have the fronts pushed out enough for most, if not all, turns.

Now to the rear. Has anybody removed the rear inner fenders completely?
