I've been lurking around a while and I have an 09 Tahoe LT 2WD that I plan on doing some work to. Nothing crazy but either a CCM 3/ 1 or 2 leveling kit or the same setup that @Bigmac18 went with. I'm still thinking over keeping my stock 20" rims or go to the 18" Z71 wheel.

With that being said, I have a couple questions:

Which rim size will have more tire options available?

Which rim size is less likely to have tires that don't rub and/or need fender well trimming?

Can anyone recommend some tires that aren't as noisy as other?

Thanks for the input in advance fellas. I'll start a build thread when I get my parts in hand.

Would recommend Toyo AT IIs they're nice looking, and are quiet and I believe my 34s are rated for 60k miles. I've had them 2 years and they still look great. As far as sizes, I'm not aware what would fit without rubbing but I know my 34s needed major trimming to fit, so my guess would be some variation of a 33
