I removed my front driveshaft to diagnose from front diff.I indexed the driveshaft spines to the transfer CASE, but I believe I didn't index to the hole where the driveshaft goes. Then I drove it around, so that output on transfer case is likely in a different orientation?

I'm assuming this has to go in EXACTLY the same way it came out?

I'm thinking possibly I *ahem* screwed myself :/

you need the u joints to be in the same orientation. so on both sides make the caps the same. they cant be off set or you'll feel a vibration.

It is indexed to cases, the universal joints, but not the pinion shaft in the transfer case.

Going to test drive it now, not sure how big of a deal that is ?0d986841e31e6b08a780f6cf9c0288c3.jpga8795022dcf240e06e496b36f699dee8.jpg

all that matters is the u joint are lined up the same. looks to be ok.

the t case just spins around, same as the rear's yolk. they dont matter if you flip them over or not and bolt the caps in the opposite way or not.

If everything feels fine its ok, I've never bothered to mark those, but there is always disagreements on that.
