Next up is to wait for the cab lights to arrive so I can pull the headliner down and wire this stuff up.

Oh, do you not have rear a/c, so no switch? I've got rear a/c and was thinking I could just rewire the switch for permanent rear control and throw the front switch away. Thoughts?

Yup! I have the family owned auto repair garage that I can use if I need to! But I try not to do any work to the truck in the winter for that reason. The mechanics and apprentices don't like to work on my trucks on a good day because 'I'm not a paying customer', and they really don't like to work on it when it's dripping melted snow water on their necks. So I schedule regular maintenance/modding on my three DD's for the summer, and only try to have them do emergency repairs in the winter.

To be honest, I don't know what that blank looks like when it has the rear ac controls, so I might be way off base here, but what if you permently wire up the rear ac to run in sync with the front ac and then buy a new blank and install switches up there as if there was no previous rear ac controls? Is that possible?
