I just replaced all of the stepper motors and some light bulbs in my cluster (2004 Yukon 2500). Everything works except the water temp and tranny temp guages. Those were the only 2 that worked before the stepper replacement
I took the cluster apart to double check the soldering and it looks fine, I actually redid it and no change. So my question is, is there something that could have happened in the process to make these 2 guages not work?
I plugged it in for just a second after the motors to see which lights were burnt out and everything flashed just for a second. I'm wondering if there is some sort of fuse that could have blown or if that flash could have done damage?
