Can someone please tell me if the suspension from a 2013 tahoe ltz is equivalent and interchangeable with a 2008 yukon Denali. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The 2013 does have magnetic ride control.

The 13 LTZ does not have MRC, at least not to my knowledge or Chevy's description on its website:

"The Autoride® Suspension Package helps Tahoe® achieve a smooth, quiet ride. This remarkable bi-state, real-time shock dampening system provides a refined ride. The system consists of a semi-active, 2-position dampening control system that responds in real time to road and driving conditions, based on body, wheel motion and many other sensors. Rear air-assisted load-leveling shocks and automatic air level control help keep the vehicle level whether it's towing a trailer, carrying passengers or hauling cargo – or a combination of these." http://www.chevrolet.com/2013-tahoe-full-size-suv/features-specs/options.html#series=CK10706_1LT

I'm not sure if there have been any upgrades from the 08 autoride to the 13, but in principle they should be the same.

The front shocks definitely have the plugs on top as well as the height sensors. The back has the air ride shock. Truck has 5k miles. It may be a 2014. I really didn't check the year just know it was new.

Air conditioned seats nav. It's fully loaded.

Thanks serge. Will I get any service suspension messages or will the truck identify the shock as new ?

Not sure what the plugs are for (presumably for the autoride) but they're not for MRC, even on the 14 LTZ or even the 14 Denali ... MRC is only available on Escalades.

Are you saying your truck doesn't have the same plugs?

I'm sorry Joe, that I do not know ... I'm sure Tony will tho.

Okay thanks for clarifying. I thought the clips on top the shock meant magnetic ride.

I have a opportunity here from a wrecked truck. But I have to move fast.

My 08 LTZ had clips on top of the struts up front too IIRC. doesn't mean magnetic.
