I'm fairly certain that the oil pressure gauge is not 100% accurate on these trucks. That being said, does anyone else see their gauge move much? My old 2001 Tahoe moved just a little bit between 40 and 60, but my 2005 will go from a little over halfway between 20 and 40 when warmed up at idle to all the way up over 60 at near WOT. I run Mobile One and a Mobile One filter. Under normal acceleration, it will go almost up to 60 right before the shift points. This just seems like a lot of movement to me. My buddy has a 5.3 in his Silverado and his barely moves at all. Anyone else see this much variance?

My 2004 Tahoe AWD has a lot of movement depending of what I'm doing, similar behavior to your 2005. I was told it's normal.
