hey i got a 2001 tahoe and i think my interior dome light switch went to shit. When i open my doors the lights come on. But when i roll the wheel thing all the way up until it makes that click sound to turn on my interior lights on they dont come on. could this just be the switch itself? I mean i found a new one on ebay for like 35 bucks, so i didnt know if i should just get it and try it.

There is another thing too im missing my window unlock button. Is there any place that would just sell the button on the net. Im going to check my local salvage yard tomorrow. But they usually dont have shit there, just old cars and beaters.

I hate that dome switch. Some *$^&%* broke into my truck a few years ago and damaged it. Went to a junk yard and found one for 10 dollars. Installed it and half the bulbs were blown and there was a short when the wheel was at max brightness (lights would flicker). Just bought another switch two weeks ago and all the bulbs are blown and the headlights would cut off randomly.

Those switches see a ton of heat because of the way they are wired up, crazy how warm they get after driving around for a while!! Buying a used one of those would be a crap shoot just because of the heat they all experience in their lifetimes!
