Whats the best way to get rid of rattles in my car?

I've only really noticed one rattle in my Tahoe and I figured out that it was the drivers side rear door lock. The door was open at a tailgate and I was playing music and it got really annoying. Once I realized what was causing it I just locked the door (pressed the lock tab down) and it stopped.

Honestly, I don't know if you can. Mine rattles EVERYWHERE.

Door locks, 3rd row seats, heated seat controls, even the plastic by the radio / climate control area squeaks.

Third row seats rattle and squeak like a ***** when they're up!

@Nhagg, I know a lot of people have had success on here with Dynamat or similar products but that prob won't help you with any fascia panels.

I found a lot of the rattle came from the windows not seating properly when they were up. Take off the door panel (there's a DIY on here) and tighten up the bolt holding the window and that helps out for some rattles. As for dash, etc, don't know what else to suggest for you.

My damn door locks rattle and irritate me. Also that plastic piece in the front corner of the window area rattles.

Oh, the money I could spend on frivolous things....let me count the ways.

I got an annoying fricking rattle where the rear A/C components are. I got some of it stopped by lifting the plastic tray on top and stuffing it with cardboard. :)
